Storm damage ranges from a single loosened panel to widespread hail cracking across an entire elevation.
This step happens same-day whenever the situation calls for it. Tarps get fastened with furring strips rather than just nails through the tarp material, which tears loose in continued wind.
Assessment includes photo documentation dated for insurance purposes. We check both the siding and any exposed trim, since hail damage on trim is often more visible than on the panels themselves.
Panels loosened or partially lifted by wind get re-secured or replaced depending on damage extent. We check the direction panels lifted from, which usually points to which elevation took the brunt of the wind.
We can meet your adjuster on-site if that speeds up your claim. Photos are timestamped and organized by elevation, which speeds up adjuster review considerably.
When damage is widespread across multiple elevations, a full re-side is often the more practical and often insurance-covered option. Upgraded impact-rated material is offered as an option for Somerville, MA homeowners in higher hail-frequency areas.
Every debris-impact repair includes a check behind the panel for hidden moisture. We inspect the gutter and downspout near any debris strike, since falling branches often damage more than just the wall.
Dispatch will ask about visible damage and whether water is actively getting in.
A technician arrives with tarping materials and cameras for documentation, ready to stabilize the situation fast.
